  3. My deepest sympathy to the Trevoy family. Don was my first boss at EK. He was the ideal mentor for a beginning chemist. I will always remember my years with Don , he was a very special man.

  4. Dear Roberta, I was saddened to see the notice of Don’s passing in the Rochester paper. I worked for Don and Dr. Hickman for four years beginning in 1949. Don was a wonderful role model for me. I have many good memories of spending time with you and Don and your firstborn (Tim ?) Donna and I want to express our sincere condolences to you and your family.

  5. Dear Roberta, My sympathy to you and your family. I spent more than 25 years with Don in the Kodak Research Labs and I have many good memories of them. My best to you and the children. John

  7. To Don and Family: Don, I was saddened to see the notice about your Dad in our local paper. I too lost my Dad almost 1-1/2 years ago now. It’s a difficult thing to accept. Regards and respects from myself and I’m sure the rest of us Tay House alumni. We still remember you here. Email back sometime so we can keep in touch. My condolences to you and your family. Scott Harter

  8. Dear Trevoy Family: I was saddened to learn from Gordon Jarvis recently that Don had passed away. He worked as a Laboratory Head in the Kodak Chemistry Division of which I was Director. In addition to being a dear friend ands gentleman, Don was an outstanding scientist contributing directly to such important commercial innovations as antistatic coatings and state of the art batteries. I have missed personal contact with Don since I moved to California in 1986; nonetheless, I have never forgotten our friendship and the respect I hold for him as a scientist and as a person. Don and I shared some common religious beliefs which we discussed on occasion. We all know that he has gone to a better place and that in due course we shall join him. Sincerely, Bryant Rossiter

  9. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Roberta and the rest of Don’s family. Don was Dave’s first boss at Kodak and we have wonderful memories of gatherings at their homes in Fairport and on Keuka Lake. Our love to you all- we’d love to hear from you.

  10. It was with great sadness that I learned of Don’s passing. Don was my first lab head in Research at Kodak and we worked together for about 18 years. Much of my approach to science is due to his mentoring and guidance and the abilities and attitudes he nurtured have enabled me to have a productive and enjoyable career. I am forever in his debt and will remember him always. Please accept my deepest sympathies at your loss..
