  16. My sincere condolences to you Darlene and the whole family. May you RIP Jim. You fought a battle over and over, where we saw that you were trying to be able to finally celebrate your new life. It’s sad that it took so long to get the whole process started. But at least you weren’t alone. Rest now, you worked a hard life, you deserve this.

  17. Dear Andrew, I am so very sorry to hear about your dad. He was a wonderful man. May God help you and keep you safe. Love, Georgia

  18. I knew Jim and his first wife well. He and she lived near me when we both first graduated from O.S.U. in addition to being classmates at Worthington. My condolences to his family. Gary

  24. So Sorry for your loss. Jim was a great person and we had many chats during NRC working hours. He will be missed.

  25. Dear Darlene, It is a shock news to me to learn that Jim has passed away. Jim and I worked together for many years in NRCs Licensing Renewal Branch. Around Jim it was never a dull moment, whether we were traveling together to the sites or enjoying ourselves in the office; he always had endless stories to tell. Professionally, in material field, he was just like a walking library. It was a great pleasure knowing and working with Jim. He’ll be sorely missed!! Peter Wen

  26. I am deeply sadden by the news of Jim’s passing. He was a wonderful person, taking time to ensure that the new engineers knew what they were doing. I enjoyed my time working with him at the NRC. My sincere condolences for your loss.

  27. I worked with Jim at the NRC and was saddened to hear of his passing. He was so kind to the admin staff and had many friends here. Prayers to all of you.

  28. I regret very much that I was unable to attend today’s service for Jim. It looks like we are, indeed, facing a blizzard here in Washington D.C. I send my sincere condolences to the Davis family. I went to Worthington High School and was in Ron Davis’ class of 1963. I was always struck by the Davis boys’ amazing brain power. I knew Ron best and he was (and, I’m sure remains) smart, funny, and a gracious gentleman. With best regards, Alice McLaughlin Merrill
