I played golf with Ed for quite a few years, in the Navy League at Twin Lakes. Ed had an obvious love for the game. He inspired everyone that knew him on the golf course that the game is a lifelong passionate sport. But much more importantly he always came across with a gentlemanly nature. With a gaggle of opponents in the league I would have much preferred to score my career round Ed took the brunt and had nothing but praise for me afterwards. He was the epitome of an admirable opponent. I will miss him on Thursday afternoons. I offer my sympathy to his entire family.
Dear Family Ed’s passing has left a hole in my life as I was with him most every day. Ginger and I dearly loved him and will miss our times together. Know that he was respected, admired and appreciated by all of his many friends. Tom
