My wife Mary Jo and I met Ms. Edna as we fondly called her 40 years ago. We remember her as a caring, loving and gentle person. Her knitting was exemplary, and we cherish the scarves she gave to the both of us one Christmas. Her smile would light up a room and she will always have a place in our hearts.
I love Ma Shapelly belly!!! This was my nickname for her and she called me SuSu! She has the best smile that can light up any room! That smile and the twinkle in her eyes is what I will carry with me. And she would call me out for any wrong doings with a swat to my behind! So I tried to be better for her. I have fond memories at the beach palace, and endless giggles at the kitchen table. I send love and hugs to all the family, especially my best friend Lisa. Prayers for peace
My sweet Nana was the kindest soul I’ve ever known. I am so lucky to have had 30 wonderful years with her and have so many memories that I will cherish forever. She loved to knit and even knitted my classes scarves every winter. She was the most caring and sweet woman I’ve ever met who loved her family so much. We were so blessed to have her shower us with love.
I’m not sure where I begin to express my feelings for such a wonderful mother and friend my mom was. Everyone that knew her loved her and she never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She always told me “If you don’t have anything good to say about someone then don’t say anything at all”. I try and be like her but I know I fall short. She was the best mother, wife, grandmother and mother-in-law you could have and we were so lucky to have her live with us for the last 17 years. For that I will be eternally grateful. Rest In Peace my dear sweet Precious and have a Carmel cake with Vicki and a martini with dad. Till we meet again I love you and will miss you forever. Love Debbie
