Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My dear all I just returned from Roanoke to read about Eddie’s death in the Post. Know that my prayers are with you all and I keep you all in my prayers and close to my heart. I have a class this week but will try tomorrow to get it changed so that I might come up.. Much love and deepest sympathy Sandra

  2. Our feelings and thoughts are with Ed (QPD), Idith and the entire family. We feel very fortunate to have shared his company, his energy, his beautiful yard, his politics… “aunque haya sido solo por un ratito”. Love, The Perez Family

  3. John and I are sorry to hear about Ed passing. Two memories come to mind. First the battle of the political signs at election time. I dont know how Ed got his hands on so many Democrat signs. The first year Clinton won he left his sign up past the beginning of the new year just to rub it in. The next thing we will always remember is Ed in the yard with his big drywall bucket counting the number of weeds he pulled each day. He always was smiling when we’d tease him about the weeds. What a great guy! He will be missed by many.

  4. Ed– you are clearly created in the image and likeness of your Dad. He can rest in peace knowing how much you cared for him and knowing what a wonderfull parents you and Mary beth have been to his grandchildren. May God have mercy on his soul and rest in peace withe lord. Our sincere condolences

  5. Dear Ed, Maribeth & Family: Our deepest condolences to each of you in the loss of your father & grandfather. For you Ed, my most sincere of sympathy extends as having walked this journey all too recently – and knowing that God’s love will wrap you and your family so tenderly through the struggles of this time, and embrace for you the joy and celebration of your father’s life and how very positively impacting it was to each one of you, we are sure. What an incredible gift he has received – that of eternal life and his returning to a perfect life now, where he can be with each of you always & everywhere. I pray that this part of life’s journey for you will enable your family to come together in strength and comfort as you are guided by God’s mercy and restored by your father’s peace in heaven, always. A poem coming to you (& your family) under separate cover. In sympathy and prayer, Andreas, Carla, Sophia & Brandon Martinese

  6. Dearest Idith, We are so very for your loss. We pray that you will find comfort in the love of family & friends, strength in the Lord’s mercy and peace with time. With sorrow, John & Tina

  7. We are so sorry for your loss and wanted you to know that you are in our thoughts. Besos y abrazos para todos. Love, Lilly and Adam

  8. Karla and I send our heartfelt prayers and condolences to Idith and her family. As their new neighbors in Potomac Green, we only knew them a short time. However, I looked forward to visiting with Ed in the yard and to talk with him about his upcoming plans for his garden. I will miss it, and him.

  9. Dear Idith, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. We will always cherish the memories of you and Ed at our wedding in Acapulco. May God Bless you and your family, The Koger family
