Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. What a wonderful picture of Edward and that is how I remember him: full of life with a big smile on his face. You will be greatly missed as you were a bright light in the world and always will be in our memories.

  2. Hi Peter, I am sorry to hear that Ed was gone. Over 40 some years ago, I still remember that when you were in the old sanno’s dorm, somehow Ed came to the outside of dorm just in front of the ice machine with a wooden samurai sword. that was the first time to meet your youngest brother. He had a big smile and was a friendly, handsome guy. Give you a buzz later.

  3. Ed, you were the best baby brother a guy could ever have. I’m sorry you had to go with so much remaining to be done. I’ll never forget the traveling and skiing we did together. Say hi to Dad, Grandmothers Bonnie and Clara, and Grandfathers Hughie and Ole. O-genki-de, mata ne! and thanks for all the fish! Aloha, Bro… you da kine! -peter

  4. I cannot believe Edward is gone. He was always so nice and polite to me and I remember his big smile and laugh. He died way too young and this is so sad. All of you are in my thoughts.

  5. Thinking of ALL of the Ostensoes at this time. Gail, Karen, Peter and John, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Tenderly may time heal your sorrow, Gently may friends and family ease your pain, Softy may peace replace heartache, and may wonderful memories remain and give you strength at this very difficult time. love to all of you, xoxo ~wendee, sims, rutledge, france & rilyn and owen

  6. Please pass our sincere condolences to Mrs. Gayle Ostensoe on the untimely passing of her son, Edward, and also to Edward’s siblings — Karen, Peter and John. Most members of our group have known the Ostensoe family for many years. Our hearts ache for their loss. May Edward and Omer rest in peace together forever.

  7. All of us at the Ark would like to send our deepest condolences on the loss of your loved one. We did not know Edward, but do know his brother Peter. Pete has been a volunteer at our no kill animal rescue shelter in Huntsville, Al for several years. We love and respect his dedication, time, and support of the Ark. If Edward was anything like his brother, his family, friends, and the animals have lost a true friend. Our thoughs and prayers are with you during your time of sadness. Nina Beal, Founder/Director The Ark, Inc.
