Dear Eileen…you were a larger-than-life personality and shared your smile and laughter with everyone you met and knew. You opened your arms and heart and welcomed me into your family without hesitation. You will truly be missed by everyone who knew and loved you and everyone will be blessed to have you as their guardian angel. A very special hug goodbye to you…rest in peace, Eileen.
Eileen was never without her incredible smile. Eileen welcomed me warmly and energetically to the Rebuild volunteer program at INOVA Fairfax. She always had a smile and I will be forever grateful that I had the chance to volunteer side-by-side with her. She was an amazing volunteer and even better friend.
Eileen was a wonderful friend and neighbor. I will miss our lunches and our visits/chats. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
Dear Mike, Jessie and Jeremy, We are so sorry for the loss of wonderful, loving, and happy Eileen. Jan and I feel so lucky that we got to spend a few days living with you all in January and getting to see her being a happy grandma to little Logan. Once the dust settles we hope you will lean on us for moral support and rest & recreation in San Diego. Love you all! Dave & Jan

Dear Mike, Jessi, Jeremy, Annmarie and Logan, Needless to say, I’m heartbroken at the loss of my oldest, dearest and best friend. I know the pain I’m in and can’t even imagine the pain you are in. I can only hope that Eileen is now with all her family and friends and smiling down on us. I know she is watching and laughing at all the memories we’ve shared. She was more than just my friend, she was my sister. My deepest sympathies to all of you and, as I tell other people, I can only hope that the happy memories will help us all during the sad times. Rest in peace my dear friend and watch over all of us until we meet again. Thank you for your friendship, love, loyalty and all the laughter! You will forever be in my thoughts and heart! Love, Linda and Kevin
Eileen brought such joy and fun to everyone. She spread happiness wherever she went and it was contagious. I remember how delighted she was when we did “boats” in Water Aerobics and how she would imitate the sound of various types of boats as we floated around the pool. We all laughed and had fun. Rest in peace, dear Eileen.
