Eleanor Ruth Ebert

Eleanor Ruth Ebert, a long-term resident of Vienna, Virginia, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2023 at the age of 97. She was born in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, and was married to Charles W. Ebert who pre-deceased her in 2010 after more than 63 years of marriage. They settled in Vienna, Virginia in 1964. Ruth worked various administrative positions, retiring from Inova Health System.
She is survived by her son Mark Charles Ebert (Cynthia) of Fairfax, Virginia and four granddaughters, Erin Ebert, Amy O'Hare (Matt), Lara Sparrow (Ray) and Kelly Duty (Joey). Ruth is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Ben and Jake O'Hare, Caroline and Grant Sparrow and Claire and Evan Duty.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth'sname to Oakton United Methodist Church, 2951 Chain Bridge Road, Oakton, Va 22124.
