Elizabeth Anne Price
August 27, 1936 ~ April 16, 2020
Elizabeth Anne (Brown) Price passed away peacefully, in the company of her loving children, at her home in Reston, Virginia on April 16, 2020. A native Washingtonian, Betty was born on August 27, 1936, daughter of Everett C. and Margaret (O’Brien) Brown and sister of Eileen (Bill) Borowski. Betty attended St. Michael's Grade School and graduated from the Academy of the Holy Names High School in Silver Spring, Maryland. Betty married Bill J. Price on September 25, 1954 and was the proud mother of their six children, Julie (Kevin) Mullin, Sharon Price, Daniel Price, Eileen (Russell) Neely, Timothy (Mary Lynn) Price and Carolyn Price. She adored her nine grandchildren Brian and Greg Mullin, Wyatt Neely, Carly, Jack and Grace Minesinger, Ben, Matt and Nate Price and great grandson, Landon Mullin. Betty cherished her life and found joy in her family, friends, church and garden. She will be missed by all the hearts she touched with her warmth, love and humor.

INTRODUCTORY RITES Greeting & Opening Rites
In the rites at the beginning of liturgy, the community welcomes the deceased as one of their own. Through the use of various baptismal symbols, the community shows reverence due to the body, the temple of the Spirit. The use of holy water is a remembrance of the deceased person's baptism and first acceptance into the community of faith; the pall is a reminder of the garment given at baptism signifying life in Christ. The Easter candle is a symbol of Christ's undying Presence among us.

To all my sweet cousins- I am so sorry we can not be together to grieve and offer some comfort during this sad time. I will always cherish our family memories of shared holidays and family beach week at Rehobeth and Bethany. Thank you for helping us keep the Brown sisters connected during the last few years. I know my Mom will always treasure her Sunday night phone calls with Betty and their lunches in Leesburg. Much love, Susan and Todd
We will always remember her beautiful smile and peaceful countenance at St Benedict’s monastery where she often attended Mass. Heaven has welcomed a new saint. We will remember her in prayer. Carol and Charles Semon
Carolyn and family, we are sorry for your loss. Thankful that we have wonderful memories of our Mothers. Prayers, love, and hugs❤️?. Molly and Smokey

Dear Dan and Family, our deepest condolences on the loss of dear Betty. What a beautiful, elegant and lovely lady she was. We so enjoyed our last visit with her (check out photo) and the other times we have spent hearing about her precious family and interesting life. May your memories of your wonderful mother be a blessing. Love, Jodi and Joe
Sending deepest sympathy to our friend, Dan, and to all the members of the Price Family. We know that you provided her the very best care, and you showed your unending love to Betty. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now, and we will attend the Mass with you as well. The Hollis Family
Dear Price Cousins…The bond that your mom and my mom had as sisters was the foundation for many of our childhood memories – Rehoboth and Bethany Beach, DanDee ” school’s out” dinners, New Year Eve ‘s party with you, Carolyn, Easter celebrations, Grandma’s fudge, and New Year’s Day at Grandma and Granddad’s where we excitedly exchanged a family gift of a board game. Childhood memories may fade but the foundation of them is always there . May you find peace in all the love that your mom gave to you and how you were able to return that love with your amazing care for her in her later life. Grandma and Granddaddy would be proud of all of you! Luv. Joanie
To all my cousins who I dearly miss. I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom and for all your kids, the loss of their Grandmother. Aunt Betty was truly a special beautiful person with such a love of life. I cherish the memories of growing up with all of you and especially our beach week. We are so lucky that Mom and Aunt Betty were such special sisters and close friends. And now we all have a special guardian angel. Wish we could be with you this week but please know we are there in spirit and heart. Love you all, Marie
My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Price Family. I have many fond memories of your Mom from all of the time I spent at your house with Eileen having sleepovers and hanging out. Your Mom was warm and loving and was always smiling. xoxo
Julie, Sharon, Danny, Eileen, Timmy and Carolyn, I am so sorry for your loss of a wonderful mother. She was such a special Aunt to us. So many great memories of her as we grew up. The great times at the beach, holidays together, sleepovers and always a sweet, loving smile on her face. She was a wonderful aunt and I have been so grateful of how special she was as a sister to my mom. My mom loves her so much and cherished every minute they had together. I know my mom will continue to talk to and hold your mom in her heart. Love and prayers to you all. Love, Rosie

I will always remember seeing your mom at the priceinteractive office with a smile on her face. A beautiful woman who lit up the room. Becky Herring
Your mom has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember! Lois, Betty, Dolores and Mary Bea! Have loved each of these women my entire life. Your mom was such a special woman and I know that you all will miss her greatly! She loved each of you so very much. My thoughts are with each of you as you mourn her death, but celebrate her wonderful life. Brigid Noonan

Aunt Betty’s beautiful smile and bright eyes truly lit up a room! Her sweet voice and gentle ways just made you want to be around her. She will be missed here on Earth, but I know Grandma and others we have lost welcomed her to Heaven with open arms! And, Cousins, when we all get there some day, we are going to have the biggest group hug ever! In the meantime, I offer you some comfort with an Irish prayer… May God Give You… With every storm, a rainbow, With every tear, a smile, With every care, a promise, And a blessing in each trial. With every problem life sends, A faithful friend to share, With every sigh, a sweet song, And an answer to each prayer. -Author Unknown
Susan and I have great gratitude for having been blessed with the opportunity to have shared a small portion of our lives with Betty and Bill. They were both “beautiful souls.” Our consolation is in the knowledge that Betty is at peace and has returned home.

So sorry for all the Price family members. She was a super lady/mother–had great memories at Bethany Beach for many years and in Ft Lauderdale beach. I remember when Steph’s mom and Betty talked for for 1 hour on the boardwalk alone after the passing of Bill.

Before the service began, I was thinking about how lovely and timeless Mrs. Price’s smile was as I only got to know her a bit in her later years. It was neat to watch it stay the same in the video montage as her life progressed. Based on what was shared today, it seems others noticed it, too! She had an inspiring beauty.
I met Betty last year, I wish I would have known her earlier in life. What a wonderful life of faith and love! May the Lord comfort your hearts dear ones?.
I feel very blessed to have met Mrs. Price and to have spent a few moments talking with her these past few years. Her smile would always light up the room and calm my heart. Such a beautiful person inside and out. – Karen T
