Our thoughts and prayers are with you in the difficult time.
Betsy’s brightness and positivity touched so many. She will be fondly remembered.
Betsy has been missed the past few months and will continue to be missed here at NCA in the future. There aren’t many folks with her good nature and strong character and her can do and cooperative attitude. I hope we can find more like her, as it would make it a better place to work.
Betsy–thank you for your warmth, your sense of fun, and for being a positive force in this world. You touched lives and hearts here and will be remembered with fondess and love. When twilight drops her curtain down And pins it with a star Remember that you have a friend Though she may wander far. –Lucy Maud Montgomery

Betsy, We have known each other from different VA grants programs. As I start Monday as the new Director, State Cemetery Grants Service, I wish that I had the chance to work with you. God had a better plan for you. Frank
One of the most happy, good humor, always upbeat individual I had the pleasure to know. Betsy you will be so missed.

Betsy’s infectious smile and her joie de vivre provided me with many happy, shared moments. She will be missed by her VA friends and colleagues. Rest assured that you are not alone in your tears and that Betsy’s spirit will live on through our fond recollections and memories of her.
Deepest sympathy to the family. I enjoyed seeing Betsey at VA. She was a warm, friendly, caring person who will be missed.
It’s hard and sad to think someone whom I worked with is gone. Betsy’s gorgeous laugh echoes through my memory. Betsy – remember how we discussed bike riding several times, stayed late and worked for the Secretary’s special events…I’ll miss you. Heidi
My sincere condolences to Betsey’s family and friends. She will be sorely missed. Betsey became a beloved member of a group of us who walked our dogs every morning at 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on weekends in Lubber Run Park. While our group no longer is together in the park, I know that Betsey kept in contact with many. Betsey’s cheerful greetings and great laugh and smile were a perfect start to the day. I’m sure that when you crossed over, all of our dogs who had crossed the Rainbow Bridge were there to shower you with many kisses. Rest well dear friend.
I have know Betsy for 13 years and we became very good friends. We were able to share confidences with each other. I will never forget the time I was scheduled to take her for one of her radiation treatments, and I arrived at her house and she was standing outside waving me in. She was dressed in a pink seersucker dress with matching pink ear rings, neckless, and bracelet. When I got out the car and gave her a big hug, she asked, how do I look as she pointed to her matching jewlery and flicked her dress, I told her she looked marvelous, and I asked if she had gotten all dolled up for me, and we shared great big laugh. I’ll miss her so much. Farewell Besty.
I’m still waiting to hear Betsy say a bad word about anyone. She was that rare individual who could lift your spirits with a simple hello. A profound loss for us all.
Betsy, You are awesome. You faced this with grace and dignity and most of all your positive attitude. You are an inspiration to us all. I am glad I got to know you.
Betsy was a wonderful sister and happy and optimistic friend. Her gentle spirit, bright smile, and caring will outlive her in our memories for sure!
My deepest sympathies to Betsy’s family and friends. I was most saddened and shocked to learn of her passing. Betsy and I were neighbors for many years at the Stratton House, and we often chatted when she walked her dog. Although I didn’t know her well, she always struck me as very kind and caring. She undoubtedly will be very missed. My sincerest condolences.
I am deeply saddened to hear the news about the sudden death of Betsy. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. Betsy was a kind, thoughtful and supportive person. She was the first to volunteer to bring in a dish during the Federal Women’s Program Events at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Betsy, your smile will be etched in memory.
I will dearly miss Betsy. She was an enormous help to me as a Federal Women’s Program manager. She always kept me centered. She was always smiling and happy with a true joy in life.
To the family of Betsy-what a wonderful person! I have known Betsy from working in the Secretary’s office to her leadership with the Federal Women’s Program and in the National Cemetery Administration. She will be sorely missed. We would have great conversations about traveling and jewelry. I am glad and blessed that Betsy passed through my life.
Betsy, your strength and cheerfulness will always be a source of strength for me. Your support as we went thru chemo and reconstruction together is a dear memory. I will miss u greatly. Janice
