Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. All of our fondest memories of our home in Oakton, VA include “Miss Lee”. She was always there for us as our next-door neighbor, friend, and “Virginia Grandparent”. We loved her dearly. Melanie would like to say that she really just enjoyed being with Miss Lee, and it made her happy that she enjoyed her artwork.

  2. As a Capital Caring volunteer, I visited Emma Lee weekly for a number of months. We enjoyed sharing scripture readings with one another. I will miss her and that smile which made everything seem right.

  3. Mrs. Lee Neighbors was amazing and I truly admired her. She had such strong faith and was so caring and loving. I feel blessed that I was able to spend time with her over the years and learned so much from her. I will never forget her and will miss her.

  4. Jim and Family: So sorry to read this news; but sure she has found eternal peace with Jesus Christ. Al and Leni Murdock

  6. Sincere condolences on the passing of Mrs. Neighbors, a friend and most interesting conversationalist, remembered fondly from COL Neighbors’ time at Arlington Hall Station. May her memory be for a blessing

  7. Hi Uncle Jim, Lisha and Jimmy….just heard about Aunt Lee’s death and wanted to extend my condolences to you. I know we’ve not been in touch as we should have been over the years–but we are family–and I remember her with fondness. Blessings upon you all.

  8. Sad to hear that Aunt Lee has passed on. Thankful that she was part of my life. Just thought about her on Tuesday this week, and then learned on Thursday (!!) that she had passed away in March. Wish we had been closer, but miles and years create unnecessary boundaries. Still, every time I smell a lilac, I think of my Aunt Lee.
