Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Such a dear friend, since their days at the UW and then here in Virginia. Especially the day we drove 1/2 way between Cleveland and Columbus to meet Eva and see Ernie who John hadn’t seen since UW days. We will miss Ernie’s dry humor and get together s with Ernie and Betty. John and Melanie Kachold

  2. Our deepest condolences to Betty and family on the loss of one so dear. We were fortunate enough to have known Ernie for 56 years – ever since he married our dear friend, Betty. Over that time, we got to know Ernie as a loving husband and caring father. He had a droll sense of humor and passion for politics. The many times we got together were filled with great memories, from the reunions at WCU to the day trips to Baltimore. Our thoughts and prayers are with Betty and his family.
