Ethel Virginia Adams
November 12, 1905 ~ December 3, 2009
Ethel Virginia Adams, age 104, of Vienna, Virginia, died peacefully on December 3, 2009 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Hunter Mill. Daughter of the late Thomas & Idella Adams; sister of the late Beulah Young, Clara Money, Thomas Edwin Adams, Florence Atkisson, Alice Malloy, DeWilton Adams, Charles P. Adams & Stanhope Adams. She is survived by four loving generations of nieces & nephews. Ethel was an Assistant to the Legislative Chairman to the AFL-CIO & a life-long member of Antioch Christian Church.

To the extended family of Aunt Ethel: I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Ethel passing. She always had a smile that would light up the room. She will be missed by many. My prayers go out to the family. Patty Payne
My Mom. Joyce Smith, was one of Ethel’s Nieces and i have many fond memories of Aunt Ethel. She was a wonderful, intelligent and loving person who was an important part of our family. We will miss her.

I worked with Ethel at the AFL-CIO for many years and enjoyed her spunk and protectiveness of Andy Beimiller. We will remember her in our prayers.
I worked at the AFL and later the AFL-CIO since 1951 and worked closely with Ethel. She was a dear friend ever since. God bless her and guide her to her eternal reward.
