Euna Mae Osborn Bunn-Trexler

Euna Mae Osborn Bunn of Arlington, Virginia, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, September 15, 2017. She was born in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to William E. Osborn and Lena Davis Osborn. She was raised in Bluford, Illinois and attended public schools in the Bluford area until she graduated at age 16. After graduation, she moved to Washington, DC to attend Strayer College where she met her future husband, Leland Edward Bunn. After college, she worked as an administrative assistant in the Department of the Treasury and at the Internal Revenue Service, until starting a family. Other than brief stints in Chicago and Germany, she resided in Arlington, VA for the remainder of her life. She had a passion for traveling, a sharp business acumen, and enjoyed the company of her friends and family.

She is survived by her two children, Brenda Bunn Kollman and husband Jerry Kollman of Arlington, VA and Nelson Osborn Bunn, Sr. and wife Barbara Hardy Bunn, of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by her three grandsons, Nelson Osborn Bunn, Jr. of Washington, DC, Stevenson Hardy Bunn of Houston, TX and Carlton Edward Bunn of Greenville, SC. Also surviving is one nephew, Bill Osborn of Clayton, MO.

Private graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting any donations be made to Capital Caring at 950 N. Glebe Road, #500, Arlington, VA 22203. The family is being serviced by Money and King Funeral Home of Vienna, VA.
