On Tuesday, March 15, 2011 of Vienna, VA. Beloved mother of Eric G. Grundset, Lee Ann Christ, and Mark A. Grundset; grandmother of Leah and Lara Grundset and Katelyn and Ashley Christ. She was predeceased by her husband, Col. Arvid G. Grundset, US Army (Ret.) and by her grandson, Brian A. Christ. Daughter of the late Lewis T. Hamner and Frances Lynton Hamner, she was a native of Petersburg, VA and was a 50-year resident of her home in Vienna, VA. She was a life-long lover of her home town and of libraries beginning with the Petersburg Public Library.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Petersburg Library Foundation, The Capital Campaign, PO Box 3435, Petersburg, VA 23805. Donations will help toward the construction of the new main library in the city of Petersburg.
