Passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at her home in Reston, Va. Beloved wife of Dr. John A. Mercantini; devoted mother of Dr. Jonathan Mercantini and Amy Mercantini-Klingler, PA (Chris); grandmother of Grady Klingler and Andrew Mercantini; sister of Jean McGoldrick and Margaret McFadden. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, July 14th at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2700 19th St., South, Arlington, Va. I met Evelyn when my office was located in a business center in Reston. She and a few others would have coffee in the kitchen. I just found out of her passing today. So sad as she was a lovely person. Condolences to her family. Jim O’Brien, Tampa, FL.
