“Uncle Frank” was a wonderful, wise man who loved his family dearly. He will be missed. My condolences to his children and grandchildren. Love, Kristin
Dr. DePaola was there for our family when we needed him the most. We were saddened to hear of his passing and wish his family our sincerest sympathy. He will be missed.
Dear Bob, Marybeth and family…. Just wanted you to know that we are thinking of you all during this time. Dr. D was a wonderful, loving pediatrician and we are so grateful that he was a part of our family’s life in sickness and in health and in friendship! We are thankful for his life and dedication to his profession and to our children! Love, Gail and Weldon
I have many memories of years in the distant past of Uncle Frank/Franco caring for our children and the visits around his kitchen table and especially his interest in all the family. Then in more recent years my visits to him with Bob and on a goodly number of occasions one or five of our grandchildren and still sitting around that same wonderful table. One visit was to him while recovering at a rehab facility after his hip surgery with a grandchild who shared a blueberry lollipop with him making his tongue blue to his delight. I felt I needed to make sure the nurses knew the blue lollipop:) I especially remember his grin/look as we arrived for a visit or as he made a fun comment. He will be missed!!
Our son, Brian was born without his right ear and wore a hearing aid on his left ear. He had many medical problems but being in the presence of Dr. DePaola was so comforting all his fears would disappear. Even tho Dr. DePaola was a pediatrician he continued to treat Brian into his late teens because he understood Brian needed his understanding and gentle manner. He was a kind human being and wonderful doctor. The Herb Legan Family
Dear Franca, Delia, and Attilio: I send my love and prayers and so wish I could be there to pay my respects. I loved your Dad and have so many wonderful memories of going to see him as a patient, of visiting your house, of socializing with your whole family. I remember him coming to our house on Christmas Day with me sick in bed. When I tell people how amazing “my doctor” was growing up, they don’t believe a doctor gave that kind of care. He was truly amazing. My whole family sends their love and gratitude. Much, much love (and tears to be perfectly honest), Victoria Depaoli
He was my doctor when I was 6 years old in 1960. He saved me from a rare childhood disease.
