  1. With 3 boys in Cub Scouts, we’d gotten to know Frank pretty well at Rider’s Hobby Store in Sterling. Always a friendly face, we will certainly miss him!

  2. I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Lyon’s death. He provided great customer service in the Hobby Store. The addition of having the Post Office services made mailing packages like living in a small town. I was shocked to hear of his death. I was just in the store on Monday. It has been a wonderful place to purchase scout attire over many years.

  3. I had the pleasure of working with Frank Lyons at Riders Hobby Shop from day 1. I learned many valuable business lessons during my 3+ years under his supervision and I recall my time there frequently. The prayers of my family are with yours. God Bless.

  4. I knew Frank in College at Marquette, just saw his notice. I am sorry that he has passed on and my condolences to the family. I remember the stories Frank would regale us with at goof off time at the end of the day or on weekends about his Mustang he had when he was growing up and the “chases” with the local constab., he was a good person and my friends and I do remember him after 31 years. I am not surprised he stayed with autos at all. I will keep him and you all in my prayers. Chuck Miles, Major, USMC (Retired) Class of 1978
