Frank Roger Desiderio, of Vienna, VA, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at his residence.
Beloved husband of the late Mary Louise Desiderio. Loving and devoted father of Mary "Mimi" Moriarty (Daniel), Rita "Boots" Sargis (Michael), Frank Desiderio, Jr. CSP and Matthew Desiderio, grandfather of Daniel Moriarty (Sharon), Vincent Moriarty, Meredith Moriarty (Eric Sugar), Brian Sargis, Keith Sargis, and Bethany Sargis, and two great-grandchildren, Danny and Sarah Moriarty. Brother of Mae Mauro and Edith Hill (David). He is also survived by his brother-in-law Nicholas Prencipe and sister-in-law Betty Jean Prencipe, several nieces and nephews and a myriad of admiring friends and neighbors. Family and friends are invited to Frank's Life Celebration at Money & King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Friday, February 8 from 2-4 & 6:30-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 8601 Wolftrap Rd, Vienna, VA on Saturday February 9 at 11:00 am. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Monday, June 16 at 11:00 am.

We are sorry to hear about Frank. He was a wonderful and caring gentleman. I remember when I was a young man traveling to Florida with my father Joe (Sonny) and staying a few days with Frank and Mary. I have some very treasured memories of that trip.
Sincere condolences to Frank’s family. I did not know him but worked with his son Matthew on a film. It sounds like both father and son shared a love of self-expression through art and music. Hope you are well, Matt.
