In Loving Memory of Gail A. King
April 1951 – August 2025
With deep sorrow, the family announces the unexpected passing of Gail A.
King, who departed this life on August 18, 2025. She was predeceased by her
beloved husband, Travis, as well as her parents and brother.
Gail is survived by her daughters, Amanda Kisner and husband Dustin, along
with their two children; and Brittany Clohan and husband Charles, with their
five children – all of Oakton, Virginia. She is also remembered fondly by her
extended family, including aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Gail was known for her fierce love for her family and friends, her steadfast
opinions, her legendary apple cake, and her passion for coffee dates,
antiquing, sewing, and volunteering. She found joy in the outdoors – whether
by the pool, at the beach, or at the family campsite surrounded by those she
loved.
She leaves behind a legacy of unwavering strength, generous spirit, and a
deep love for bringing people together – from every festive table she set, to
every helping hand she offered, she faced every challenge with
determination. Gail created a legacy of love and warmth that will live on in
the hearts of all who knew her.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
The family invites you to a memorial service honoring and celebrating Gail’s
life, her faith, and the hope of eternal rest. The service will be held on
Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Westwood Country Club in
the Ballroom. All who knew and loved Gail are welcome to attend and share
in the remembrance of the joy, kindness, and strength she brought to our
lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the
Family Worship Center’s Mission Projects (Bealeton, VA) in memory of
Gail.
