Gail A. Bohan peacefully passed away on August 10, 2024. She was the oldest of ten siblings of John and Joan Krytusa, wife of David, mother of Jennifer (Ken) and Lisa (Trevor), and grandmother of six. Gail always looked forward to holidays and special events to host large family gatherings. She enjoyed traveling abroad with her husband. Gail graduated from George Mason University and earned Master’s Degrees from GMU and George Washington University. She maintained an enduring relationship with the GMU faculty, students, and Alumni Association. Her professional career was one of service to the local community as a member of local, regional, and state IT committees to implement intergovernmental computing practices. Gail served as the IT Director for the City of Fairfax and worked with a team that created the Northern Virginia Emergency Response System. She was a manager in the Fairfax County Department of IT. Gail volunteered with the Fairfax Medical Reserve Corps and with several women’s professional groups. Gail actively supported several local arts and social organizations. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Loudoun Abused Woman’s Shelter in Leesburg, VA in her name. Viewing will be held 4:00-7:00, August 14, 2024 at the Money and King Funeral Home, 171 Maple Ave W, Vienna, VA 22180. A funeral mass and burial will be at 11:00 AM, August 15, 2024 at the Old St. Mary Catholic Church, 5612 Ox Rd, Fairfax Station, VA 22039.
