Geneva Lee Lichliter, age 95, of McLean, VA, died on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Virginia Hospital Center. Beloved wife of the late Leroy L. Lichliter; devoted mother of Alan Lichliter and Linda L. Eisenhart. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brian, Matthew, Katie, and great-grandson, Luke. The family will receive friends at the Bethel Baptist Church, 9040 Trottinridge Rd., Chase City, VA 23924, on Monday, May 11 from 12 noon until time of services at 1 p.m. Interment Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery

Dear Alan and Linda, We don’t know each other, but I knew Geneva through our mutual membership at McLean Baptist Church. I especially admired and appreciated the knowledge, ability and devotion she brought to creating and maintaining our church library. It has been a valuable resource, and we owe Geneva our sincere gratitude. I also enjoyed her lovely smile and her delightful laugh when she was amused.
