George E. Nuber, Jr., CDR, USN (Ret), age 84, of St. Michaels, MD, formerly of Vienna, Va., died on Thursday, February 3, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Mabel Jean Nuber; father of George E. Nuber, III (Michele) and the late Dianne L. Gross; grandfather of Sarah & Amanda Nuber. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 7020 A. C. Skinner Pkwy, Suite 100, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
