Of Vienna, VA., died on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. Dear Lynda: We extend to you and your family our deepest sympathy. We already miss George and the friendship we enjoyed for so many years. Especially we will remember stopping to chat with him during our daily walks, while he was outside tending to the Kirstein estate.
My continuing thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. George was a bright light in my life and a great friend. My mother used to tell me that thunder was the angels in heaven bowling. Whenever I hear thunder now, I will think of George–and hope they are all strikes! We will miss him and his wonderful smile greatly.
Linda, Lacey and Jim, Please accept my families thoughts and prayers in your time of sorrow. I have a warm thought of the last itme I saw Uncle George. While it has been over a decade, Uncle George, Aunt Linda, Aunt Martha and Uncle Ed all stopped at my house. Uncle George, with a smile on his face, said to me,”You home reminds me of your mother and fathers’ home, always hopping.” His comments gave me a sense of pride and a wonderful memoory of my parents.
Dear Lynda, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of George. Your all were married a long time. What memories you have. Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers during this new journey of your life.
Dear Linda, We are deeply saddened by the news about the death of George. We are very sorry. George was such a kind soul,we will always miss his helpful advice. This must be very difficult for you and your family. Please remember that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and your family during this time and always. Paul & Donna Stahl
Dear Lynda, So sorry to hear of your loss. George was such a happy guy that I hope all your memories of your life together always bring smiles! I still have the little ceramic house you gave Tom and me when we married 28 years ago. I think of you every time I look at it. It has a place of honor in my home because it brings back so many memories of our carpool days and the interaction with you, George, and your mom and dad! You were so blessed to come from a great, loving family and to have found George, who continued the legacy of your parents by being a super husband and dad! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Be brave and cherish the good memories!
Dear Lynda, We are very sorry to hear about George. He was a wonderful “pew partner” for so many years. We enjoyed getting caught up with things with him each week. We will keep you in our prayers. Joan & Michael O’Rourke
We can’t believe George is gone! We have such fond memories of him at our house for Thanksgiving and Christmas over many years; the holidays will never again be the same. George offered to be my adopted father, after my dad passed away, and I couldn’t have asked for a better adopted dad. George was there for us when my mom passed away, always fixing us lunch as Andy and I got her house ready for sale. I’ll never forget his famous sandwiches. Lynda, Lacey, and Jim and Molly, we will miss George something awful, we will. Love, Erik, Marian and Andy
I first met George when I joined the “Over 39 Gang” bowling league in the fall of 2010. I was on George’s team that first year along with Dorothy and Bill Brandel. Whether we did well or not George kept us in good spirits. I will miss his cheerfulness and warm greetings on Monday mornings.
Dear Linda and Family – we were so saddened to hear of Georges passing. Will and the boys and I so enjoyed stopping and admiring his handiwork out in the yard! Johnny wanted you to know that “Mr George had the best big rock ever!” Lots of love The Kronzers
