I’m writing to say I think George was a classmate of mine at Flint Hill Elem. School. I attended Vienna Elem. until Flint Hill Elem. opened, and completed grades 5 through 7 there. I was born Brenda Poland; we lived on Hillcrest Dr. in Vianna. I’ve often wondered about George. I’m very sorry to hear of his passing but I feel he had a productive and happy life. Glad to see (in the Post death notice section) a large family survives him.
George was such a wonderful friend..He will be deeply missed.
We’re going to miss George’s dry sense of humor at our family gatherings. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers,

George was a man of few words and “what you saw was what you got.” He had a great smile and was a wonderful neighbor. George will be dearly missed by his friends at Tysons Towers. Please accept our sincere condolences.
