GERARD JOSEPH LOOBY (Age 70)
At Georgetown University Hospital, Lombardi Cancer Center, on Wednesday, March 30. Beloved husband of Larisa Pokrovsky Looby of Great Falls, VA, devoted father of Elizabeth Cannon of Manhattan Beach, CA, Jeffrey Looby of Westport, CT and Matthew Looby of Great Falls, VA. He is also survived by six loving granddaughters, Elizabeth, Katherine, Alexandra and Charlotte Cannon, as well as Bridget and Margaret Looby and one grandson, Patrick Looby. Originally of Philadelphia, PA, Gerard was a dynamic and dedicated member of the cable communications and cell phone industry until his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and lover of the Caribbean, but he spent his happiest times at his beach house in Delaware.
