Grace Mary Wise
August 29, 1924 ~ November 8, 2013
Beloved mother and grandmother passed on to eternal life on Friday, November 8, 2013. Mrs. Wise is survived by her daughter Valarie; two grandsons, Jeffrey (Lisa) and Keith (Kristine); her nephew, Frank (Carol); and two nieces, Joyce and Marty (Allen); great-nieces, nephews and cousins will also feel the emptiness Grace left behind. Her humor and strength will be dearly missed. Mrs. Wise was born in Norfolk, VA but spent most of her life in the Metro area. She worked in the Pentagon for the Departmrnt of Defense for 32 years before retiring to her home in Vienna. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 16th at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 8601 Wolftrap Rd., Vienna, Va. Interment will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be sent to Capital Caring Hospice, 2900 Telestar Court, Falls Church, Va 22042.
