In Loving Memory of Gregory Edward Lawrence
September 7, 1961 - May 20, 2022
Gregory Edward Lawrence, age 60, of Bristow, VA passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022. Greg was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. He graduated from Winston Churchill High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger E. Lawrence, and Margaret Lawrence Ware. Greg is survived by his children, Kiera, Sydney, Nathaniel, and Matthew, his siblings, Jeffrey, Melinda, and Julie, and a host of other loving friends and family members.
After graduating from the University of North Texas, Greg worked in the fields of non-profit, real estate, construction, and property management. He lived and worked in the Northern Virginia area for many years, and at the time of his death, Greg was retired.
Greg was a lover of the outdoors, fostered by the many camping vacations he took with his family during childhood. And, like his father, he enjoyed looking for treasures at yard sales and flea markets. But, above all else, Greg was a family man, and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his beloved children. They were everything to him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA with a reception to follow at: International Country Club, 13200 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, Fairfax, VA 22033. An interment service will be held in San Antonio at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to: The Virgil Blossom Scholarship Fund, NEISD Council of PTAs, 8961 Tesoro, San Antonio, TX 78217 or to the Nature Conservancy, Attn: Treasury, 4245 N. Fairfax Drive, Suite 100, Arlington, VA 22203. The online guestbook is available at www.moneyandking.com
