As very dear friends, neighbors and co-workers we have many fond memories of time spent with Gus and Marge – much to be thankful for. God Bless. Charles & Vera Long.
I cant imagine that Gus has gone. He lived a full life and brought happiness to many. After retirement my father looked forward to the long-distance telephone visits he had with Marge and Gus. Afterward there was always a new joke Dad could tell us. As a young child I would visit my Grandmother in Conway. She was so proud of her daughter Marge. I was wide-eyed looking at pictures of a glamorous Marge and Gus, that handsome man in his Navy Uniform. He looked like Prince Charming to me. Later after I retired, my husband and I had the privilege of visiting Marge and Gus in Virginia. What a great time we had. We loved seeing their house and hearing about the books they were writing. They seemed to have the secret of a successful retirement. We send our love and heartfelt sympathy to Marge and the Faeder family. Heidi and Martin Berndt
