  1. Harry will forever be one of my favorite childhood – highschool friends. It makes me so sad he didn’t know that he was so valued and loved. My heart goes out to all who love him and will miss greatly.

  16. I am so greatful that I got to know Harry at Oakton High School and through Young Life. When I think of Harry I can’t help but think of his twinkling smile and his adorable freckles. His smile lit up the room. Kind and friendly to all. I rembering seeing Harry at a Young Life reunion a few years back. It was an especially joy filled time all of us together. I am very grateful for that short time. Harry l, you will be missed.

  20. It is amazing that our memories of Harry are the same, at OHS or elsewhere in life. He was all of the above and much more. I remember how special he made me feel for those silly locker decorations before each football game, no matter how they looked. His kindness was genuine and I am thankful we were able to know each other better through Harry, then and now.

  25. My Love and Prayers for all the Ryan family.Harry, Jr. was a very special person who was very much a part of our family from the time we all met in 1970. Enjoying times together at our son Shawn’s games and Harry, Jr.games, from the time they were young through High School.Spending time together at family birthday’s, anniversary’s, holidays and just fun times together. So sorry for your pain Harry, but you are now in a better place with our Lord and your beautiful Mom. Your family now has two Guardian Angels watching over them. You will not be forgotten!

  36. Words cant describe the sorrow I feel in hearing this news. It devastates me that I lost touch with him and wasnt able to find him, despite the fact that Ive thought about him so often. Like many, I knew Harry since kindergarten at Marshall Road Elem and through Oakton High. My every memory of him brings a smile to my face now, just as it did then. Just no better friend than Harry Ryan. We will all miss you so much.
