Harry J. Zink, Col. USAF (Ret)
August 12, 1917 ~ July 31, 2016
Passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at his home in Arlington, Va. Beloved husband of the late Frances L. Zink. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Brian and Sharon McGrath of Toronto, Canada; his son and daughter-in-law, William and Lawana Zink of Arlington, Va; his sister, Margaret Baer; his grandchildren, Tara, Sean, Samantha, Ryan, Michelle and James. Also survived by nine great-grandchildren. After serving 27 years in the US Air Force, he was Undersecretary of Transportation, Managing Director of the Civil Aeronautics Board and Managing Director of the National Transportation and Safety Board. Services and interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cherrydale United Methodist Church in Arlington, Va.
