Hazel M. Lent, formerly of Oakton, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Willard F. Lent, Sr.; devoted mother of Willard F. Lent, Jr. (Brenda) and Linda L. Swartz (Joe); grandmother of Sheri, Lauri, Wendi and Karen and six great-grandchildren; sister of Patricia A. Mills and the late Thomas Z. Mills(the late Kay); sister-in-law of Ethel V. Lent (the late Arthur L.); the aunt of one niece and two nephews.

Every childhood memory I have has Hazel in it! What a beautiful reflection of god’s love! She was the most kind loving women you could ever meet!I will carry her memory with me forever!I love you Mama Hazel! I know you are smiling from above, so until we meet again…..
I used to work with Hazel many years ago, but will never forget her. She was a kind and beautiful woman. Rest in peace my old friend.

OH Hazel, how I’am going to miss you. I remember all the times as a teenager when you would chew me out and I would stand there grinning. When you were done you would always turn to me and say “but you have the prettiest smile”. Thanks Hazel for those great memories and all the others. I remember Hazel from when she worked at my father’s law firm in Vienna. She was always so sweet and kind. Rest in peace, dear Hazel.

I was fortunate to have grown up with two grandmothers on the same street, Pine St in Oakton VA. Grandma Hazel was always there to watch over us as kids, offer a plate of food, and give loving advice. My childhood will always be filled with memories of her kindness and warm smile. Sad you are gone, but happy heaven has gained a new angel on our behalf. Miss you Grandma Hazel – Love Jr
