Helen L. Foreman of Vienna, Virginia died on March 5, 2008. Beloved wife of Charles W. Foreman; devoted mother of Mark Foreman (Louise); & loving Nana of Chad Foreman. She is also survived by her niece, Jane Hess Harris (Ron); great-niece, Molly Taft Johnson (Kevin), great-great nieces, Anna & Leah Johnson, & a host of other family & friends. She was predeceased by her brothers, Arthur & Harold Hess, & her beloved grandson, Will Foreman.
Mrs. Foreman was born on March 25, 1922 to William & Marea Overbeck Hess in Terre Haute, Indiana. Her life was devoted with great happiness to caring for her family. She was an avid quilter. Mrs. Foreman was a long time member of Quilters Unlimited & her beautiful flower garden quilt was selected in 1978 by the United States Postal Service to promote commemorative quilting stamp series. She touched many lives with her sweet, gentle spirit & her kind, loving nature.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 8 at Money & King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA from noon until time of services at 2pm. Interment will follow at Flint Hill Cemetery, Oakton, Virginia.
