Guestbook

  1. Dear Grandmaw, Thank you for being such a wonderful Grandmaw. I will forever cherish our regular Sunday lunches, holiday and birthday gatherings, current event and pop-culture chats, and walking hand-in-hand while window shopping at Tysons Galleria. I’m so glad that you were able to know my family, especially my son Connor. You always made him smile. I promise that I will keep your memory alive, forever. I love and miss you soooo much. Your biggest fan, Heather

  2. I will miss Helen so much; we worked together for over 10 yrs. and kept up our friendship when we both retired and had a lot of laughs when we lunched or chatted on the phone. She supported me while dealing with cancer and my mother’s passing; she was always a true friend.

  3. Helen and I were co-workers for many years at Sprint. Helen was always there for everyone when they needed support — including me. I admired her giving spirit very much. I offer my smypathy to her family. Heather, your Grandmaw was also your biggest fan! She talked about you all the time and was so proud of you and your brother. For everything that passes, something beautiful remains, and I am sure Helen’s family has many beautiful memories that will always be with them. God Bless.

  4. Thank you, Helen, for being such a wonderful neighbor for 14 years. You helped a very green Brit find her feet, walked our beloved Indy every day, welcomed our sons when they arrived from some foreign place without a front door key and were always ready to help in any way. We enjoyed having you over for meals, introducing you to some new dishes (ratatouille!)and having some lively discussions. It is going to be very hard walking past your house and not being able to drop in for a chat. We miss you and will cherish the laughter and happy memories of our friendship.

  5. Helen was my assistant and trusted friend for many years at Telenet and Sprint. She, unqestionably, had a major part in whatever success I had in the company. After I retired in 1991 and moved to Florida, most times when Berry and I came back to N. Virginia we had lunch with Mary. She was a wonderful person,a great friend and she will be greatly missed. With much love Berry and Floyd Trogdon

  6. Helen was s friend from our days at GTE Telenet. She was a great companion. We enjoyed many lunch dates at Amphora, especially after we “retired.” She was definitely a valued friend and highly amusing and always lively.

  7. Helen Luce was a joy to all she came into contact with. Her smile and joyous presence commanded any room she entered. I feel glad to have known her and am saddened with news of her passing. She will be missed by family and friends.
