Helena J. Rollo, of Herndon, VA died on August 13, 2018 at her home. Born March 12, 1921 in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Hendrik George Hartsuyker and Helena Wilhelmina Laponder Hartsuyker. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Rollo and her son, Ron Rollo

Leni was invited to our daughter Kate’s play Oklahoma at Carson Middle School.
She was 85 and sprite for her age. The seating was coliseum style and consisted of carpeted benches with no back. Leni sprinted up the stairs and found a seat at least half way up. My husband Joe remarked she was just like a “mountain goat”. For years Leni repeated that story. She loved Joe’s analogy.
