Of Falls Church, VA, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2007, comfortably at her home. Beloved wife of the late Ronald MacDonald; mother of Fiona M. Berman, Lorna M. Whipp, R. Cameron MacDonald and Colin MacDonald and grandmother of Cassie and Beckie Berman and the late Marshall J. McDonald. Family and friends are invited to Mrs. MacDonald's life celebration at MONEY AND KING FUNERAL HOME, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA, on Monday, July 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial Will be celebrated at Our Lady Of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 8601 Wolf Trap Rd., Vienna, VA, on Tuesday, July 10 at 10 a.m. Interment Fairfax Memorial Park. My mother, Rita was a very special lady. I shall long remember her stories about Scotland and wearing the kilt and pulling up her skirt at a party with her Senior Center Friends. I’ll also remember her whenever I look at my garden, as most of the plants are from cuttings from her garden. And I smile when I think of her helping the older friends, because she always thought of herself as young. I’ll also will remember her whenever I am at the beach, and her pointing and saying Scotland is right over there.
I love you Mrs. MacDonald. I am so glad we got to see you on Halloween. All of my prayers are with your family.
