Eddie Darnes, age 84, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, formerly of Vienna, Virginia, died on Monday, January 25, 2010 at Fair Oaks Hospital. Loving husband of Clara Darnes; devoted father of James Darnes (Suzanne) & Kenneth Darnes (Susan). Also survived by five grandchildren & six great-grandchildren. He was a life member of the Falls Church Volunteer Fire Department.

Dad had a good life. I am proud he was my Dad.I would like to say Thank you lord for him being in our lives.He always had that can do atitude that will be missed.His humor in tough times was unbelievable.He is now at peace an with God.My family I will will miss him.But now he is in a better place and in our hearts.
