Jacqueline J. Levine

jacqueline levine
Jackie J. Levine, age 78, of Vienna, Virginia, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday November 6th, 2012. She will be forever treasured in our hearts. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and a beloved friend to many. She was born in Heron Lake, Minnesota on April 14, 1934 and graduated from The St. Francis School of Nursing in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. She practiced as a Registered Nurse at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. She enjoyed synchronized swimming and all kinds of needle work, especially quilting. One of her favorite activities was her weekly Bee with her quilting buddies. If you stopped by her house for a cup of tea, you had to move aside stacks of fabric to sit, and be careful not to step on any loose needles or pins. She loved to cook and was famous for her delicious apple pies. Jackie had a quick smile, a generous heart, and a well used Nordstrom card. Jackie was life long learner and loved to read, especially her beloved Bible. One of her most precious activities was reading scripture with her granddaughters, Brooke and Cate. Although she will be greatly missed, we find comfort and strength in knowing that she is now with Our Lord and Savior.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jackie's Life Celebration at the Christian Fellowship Church, 21673 Beaumeade Circle, Ashburn, VA 20147 on Sunday, November 11 from 3:00 PM until time of funeral service at 4:00 PM. Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made in Jackie's memory to the Christian Fellowship Church or charity of your choice. 1. Jackie was the sweetest, loving and kindest person. She always had a smile on her face and was most willing to share her knowledge of quilting, appliqu and needlework, especially redwork. Her creations were exquisite and will be treasures to any of her recipients. RIP, Jackie. You will be missed at Playgroup on Mondays.
