Helen, so sorry to hear about Jim, from Renee. I was hoping he could pull through all of this and you all could enjoy some quality time after his retirement. I understand what you have been through up to the end. Nancy was my strength, and I thank God for her help. I know Jim must have felt the same way! Fortunately, he is with the Lord. God bless you and your family.
Helen, Joanna, Karen and Jimmy, We are so saddened by the passing of Jim. Jim was such a kind soul, so positive and generous of his time in helping others. We will always remember his big smile and full mustache that would light up the room. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Patty, Mike and Michael McDermott
We express our deepest sympathy and condolences for your loss. Our prayers are with your family. We pray for your husband and father, that his soul may find peace and rest with the Lord. Kate and Dan Garretson
Jim was always willing to spend time to listen. Very Humble, very consoling, and very conservative in nature as we remember him. He always had time for anyone who came to the door during the holidays to sit down and spend some quaility time about what was going on in their lives. He had a good heart and spirit and that will be missed. We love you Jim and our prayers go out to Helen and family. Love Jeff and Julie.
Our sympathies to Helen and the entire family. Jim was a fine man and is happy in heaven.
Helen, Joanna, Karen and Jimmy Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I will always remem ber Jim as being such a patient basketball coach at OLGC. You could tell he would get frustrated with the girls but he never lost his cool. His smile and laugh could light up the room. He will truly be missed.
Jim was my supervisor when I retired from the USGS in 2004. I got to talk with him at retiree luncheons. I am a year older so this is quite a shock. I am so sorry for everyone in his family and hope that as life goes on you will all appreciate each other even more.
A true gentleman, who will be missed by all.
Jim’s spirit will always be with us. Wonderful co-worker ready to help anyone do anything – he never had to “hang a shingle” though people would seek his thoughts and guildence often. I’m sorry for his loss. Take care.
I worked with Jim at USGS; we shared the pain of being front-line supervisors. He was a wonderful guy, great coworker, and fellow PSU alum. We recently discussed the sad Sandusky scandal at an Amphora retirees luncheon, so I’m shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. My condolences to the family.
