James Madison Hunnicutt, age 84, formerly of Bethesday, Maryland died on September 6, 2012 at the Virginia Hospital Center. Beloved father of Susan Hull Hunnicutt and Kris Hunnicutt; brother of Betty Leverty and grandfather of cody and Caleb Paul. His is also survived by three nieces. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org/

I first had the privilege of working with Jim 20+ years ago, and quickly came to admire him as a professional and as a human being. His thoughtful wisdom, his sense of humor, and his perspective on parking, people, and the world were a positive influence. He made major contributions to his profession.
