Sorry to see that another generation has passed on. From the Fraserburgh branch of the family

Jim was very good to me as a young professional working for him at the Army Corps of Engineers in D.C. He was kind and was great with my two daughters. He and Mary Jane attended both of their weddings and that was probably the last time I saw Jim, when my daughter Viki married in 1998. Jim knew I loved the Vienna and Oakton area and had lived in Oakton a couple years before moving further out. When another friend retired, Hans Moennig, he called me up and my friend Julie and I met Jim and Hans in Vienna and had lunch and had a nice drive around the area which I loved so much. It was fun and he was a good man. A little excessive on Excel spreadsheets and LotusNotes but that skillset proved to be a beneficial skillset for me. Jim you are and have been missed. Rest in peace Mr. Maas, my boss.
