I give my sincere condolences to the families and friends. James was greatly loved and will be missed. The best description of Jehovah God is that he is love. It talks of this at 2 Corinthians 13:11 where it says, “Finally, brothers, continue to rejoice, to be readjusted, to be comforted, to think in agreement, to live peaceably, and the God of love and of peace will be with you.” This love is the reason why we can be confident that Jehovah will remember those in the memorial tombs in the near future and we will be reunited with our loved ones. Please take comfort in that knowledge.
To the loved ones of Jim, I am truly sorry for your loss. I pray you find peace and comfort in the love you shared and all the memories made. I worked with Jim at ETL/TEC and shared many stories and laughs during the time we worked together. He always made me laugh and I admired how much love he had for his family, especially his precious daughters.
I use to work with Jim at the US Army Topographic Center in Alexandria. We would talk for hours in the library. He was a true and honest guy. My prayers go out to his family.
Jim and I became good friends at ETL/TEC starting back in the 1980’s after he came over from DMA. We shared many interests and enjoyed good times at work and outside. I will always remember Jim’s great sense of humor and his kind heart. My condolences to Carole and to his daughters Claire and Rachel.
Dear Carole – we want you to know that you are in our hearts and prayerful thoughts. You have our sincere sympathy as we care so much about you! Love, Denny and Gerry

I knew Jim from his time at DMA and ETL/TEC and was privileged to be called his friend. He greeted every day with an upbeat attitude and inspired others to do the same. I will never forget our backpacking trips together and the reverence he had for the natural world. Our hearts go out to Carole and his family, especially daughters Rachel and Claire, at this difficult time. Bruce and Mary Beth

We had such great times: Baseball, field work, skiing, joking, laughing. I think of them more fondly as the years go by. Thanks for the wonderful memories…
