  1. I am so heartbroken for you Lanita and for your family. I know her family was first and foremost in her heart; evidenced in words and deeds every day. I was honored and blessed to be her friend. She taught me to enjoy life, to take trips and chances, to dance at the least excuse, to laugh often, to follow only your own dress code, and wear outrageous and fun outfits, and that all creatures deserve love, even a fish named Hootie. I will think of her and miss her every day of my life and will pray that your hearts are filled with comfort and peace. God bless, Kathy

  2. I will miss Janet a great deal, we shared an office together and many other things were shared while in that office. God bless you Janet and peace be with you and your family. To Lanita, Terrance and Irvin please know that we at the Poison Center are always here for you.

  3. Janet, You were always a highlight of the workday, whether sporting a punchy outfit, or coming in to smooch with the fish. May you have peace and God’s blessing. Thank you also for being a good & welcoming friend to Annette, on her visits to the Center. Andre

  4. Janet will be missed she was a kind and loving person . Always had a kind word and smile for everyone. Deepest sympathy to her family . Ginny

  5. Mom we will miss you more than words can tell; you were the heart and soul of the family. You were always the the loudest voice at all the kids sporting events, if you were not present everyone knew and always said “we need your mom here”. One way to decribe Janet was a walking kaleldoscope. Mother, to one who bears the sweetest name, and adds a luster to the same. Who shares my joys, who cheers when sad, the greatest friend i ever had. Long life to her for theres no other can take the place of my dear mother.

  6. Coming to work will never be the same after this week. I will miss Janet’s unique humor, her natural sauciness, and her listening ear. We had ten great years of being workmates! I loved Janet. I’m so glad we took advantage of every opportunity to dance. Janet’s great gift to all was to live well in each moment.

  7. I will miss you Janet,my friend, so much. Whether at a party, the gym , or daily at work you were always such a joy to be around. She definitely lived life to it’s fullest and taught us all by example. My love to you Lanita and your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
