Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. We have so many good memories of Jerry, our neighbor. His big heart and friendly, kind ways endeared him to all who knew him in our mountain community of Wintergreen. Children flocked to him, knowing that he was always glad to see them and would remember them, no matter how long it had been since their last visit. Our political discussions were interesting and fun, and Jerry was always willing to do anything to be a good neighbor. He took many of our family group photos with his good camera, making sure that the children had a grand time posing as he made cracks and jokes. We’ll always miss our Jerry.

  2. Big heart, big hug, big laugh–they were all Jerry. He’d always have your back. As loyal as they come. We already miss him. Burt&Joan Ross

  3. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Condolences and thinking of you, Val. George & Lee Creed

  4. Larger than life, always with a smile when he related stories of his beloved grandkids, Jerry leaves behind so many wonderful memories for his family to treasure in the years ahead. Rest in Peace Jerry.

  5. Val, Jennifer and Jon, I am so very sorry for you loss. I know Jerry will continue to watch over you and enjoy the laughter of your family for years to come while smiling down from heaven.I will be here for your Mom when she needs me.

  6. Dear Val and family, We are so sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. He was a fine man and a good neighbor. May the Lord comfort all your beautiful family with sweet memories in the days ahead. Love and sympathy, Michael and Betsey Mulloy

  7. Val, I was saddened to hear that Jerry had passed. We met briefly when you drove me to Monroe’s house in Dunn Loring, and you seemed like such a nice person, with such a big heart. I know Jerry and Monroe are both smiling down on all of us, missing us as much as we all miss them! Take care now!
