Jewitt M. Keller, Jr., age 84, of Vienna, Virginia passed away on Friday, August 21, 2009 at Hampshire Center in West Virginia. He is the loving husband of the late Dorothy Irene Keller and devoted father of the late Randall Wayne Keller, Sr. He is survived by three grandchildren, Wayne (Sherry) Keller, Jack (Lisa) Keller and Larry Keller; seven great grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Susan Keller.

A dear member of our family is gone and we will miss our uncle Jewett. May he rest in peace knowing that he was loved.
When I think of dear Uncle Jewitt, the memory always shows him with a smile on his face – always glad to see you. He was such a beloved member of the family especially when my brothers and I were children. We often came to visit and we always felt his gentleness and sweet sense of humor. He was excellent at the Bar-B-Q and great with a story. I know he is with my mother – his sister – and that gives me comfort. He left as peacefully as he lived. His gentle spirit will be missed on the planet.
Uncle Jewitt was our mother’s last living sibling. We are glad that we had the opportunity to visit with him the last time we were in Virgina 2 years ago. He was a beloved member of our family, and a very nice uncle to me and my siblings. We all remember the many visits to his and Aunt Dot’s home when we were growing up and the good times we had. He will be missed by all of us. May he rest in peace.
