Joan C. Lorence, 78, died on Friday, January 30, 2009 at her residence in McLean, Va. Beloved wife of Robert J. Lorence, Sr., devoted mother of Linda (Stephen) Critelli and the late Robert J. "Bobby" Lorence, Jr., grandmother of Stephen Robert Critelli and Robert J. Lorence, III., and "Second Mom" to many.
Joan was a proud member of the PEO Sisterhood. She was a talented China Painter and a member of the No. Va. Handcrafters Guild and the Porcelain Painters Guild.
