It’s with great great sorrow, silence, and tenderness that I learned of Joanne’s passing. She was so dear to my heart, and I will miss her caring love, her sharp and fluid mind, her laughter, her extraordinary beauty, and her love of all things spiritual. My heartfelt prayers go out to the entire family who she cherished so deeply….. Leslie
Dear Haahr Family, Joanne was a lovely and classy lady who was my client and friend for many years. I will miss her calls for advice and guidance and pray for comfort for you all.
I feel sad that I just found out about Joanne’s death. Since I moved to Los Angeles from Washington DC almost twenty years ago, unfortunately I lost contact with her and her family. I will always remember what a stunning beautiful woman she was when I met her, around 1989 at a black tie event. She reminded me of Audrey Hepburn. I asked her to sit for me for a portrait and she did. I met the rest of her lovely family, and I am so sorry of this loss. She has made Heaven a bit classier…
