In the short time I knew him, I found in him a great friend. I will miss his wonderful smile and his great sense of humor, he could always make me laugh. I will also miss the great hugs he gave me every day at work. To his family, I send you my deapest sympathy, and I am proud to say that I was able to know the great person he was. He will be missed.
He was my PaPaw… the strength to our family… His laughter, his jokes, his hugs, his strength… He will be greatly missed… but we now know he is with his one great love, MaMaw… WE LOVE YOU PaPaw…
Nikki, My prayers are with you and your family.
Please know the reality of the Lord’s prayer, for God’s will to be done on EARTH as it is in heaven will soon take place. Perhaps you may wonder if the bible really teaches that God takes good people, if so why since he is all-powerful and naturally has the ability to create without taking another and thus leaving the family in pain. Well we would love to share with you the bible’s answer to that question if you would allow.

A little late to be writing in the guestbook, but he has always remained in my thoughts and heart. I am greatly appreciative for the Carroll family for letting me be a part of Papaw’s life. He was a great influence in my life and I cherish every memory of him I have. Every time I pass by a can of orange spray I laugh, and every time I hear the song Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash, I cry. I am happy to have spent the last moment of his life with him, however traumatizing it was. My heart still aches at the thought of him gone and my heart aches for his family, who cherished him dearly. I love you Papaw and I miss you so much.
