Died on Friday, May 15, 2009 at his home in Reston, Va. He was the beloved husband of Jeter Gregg Benbow, devoted father of Patrick and Parker Benbow, brother of Carol Dixon, Betty Ann Benbow and Dr. Perry Benbow, III. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of Scouting, National Capitol Area Council, 9190 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20814.
