John R. Pyle of Vienna, Virginia died on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Anne Arundle Medical Center. Father of Johnny Pyle; brother of Martha Pyle, Karen (Ron) Decker and Richard (Debbie) Pyle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. John is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Jean Pyle and sister, Amy Frame.

Relatives and friends are invited to John's Life Celebration at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Thursday, August 21 from 6-8 PM. Donations may be made to The Arc of Northern Virginia.

  11. JP was as close to the Farris brothers as a brother could be. He was one of the “boys” my parents would say. Even though I hadn’t seen him in years (I was living in California) I missed the fun we had had & the brother he was to me. He like others we knew that have left this world, was way too young to leave us. Miss you JP.

I had not seen John in quite sometime but our paths crossed a few years back when he came to my shop and installed some carpet jobs for me. We had a great time talking about the past something i will now cherish.

  18. Hi, JP knew my brother Dave very well. Unfortunately Dave could not attend as he is in the hospital. Please know that our entire family knew JP to varying degrees and news of his death was a shock that brought sorrow to us all. Scott Ewing for Dave,Linda, Laura and Shirley and Dell. God Speed.

  21. I just ran across this. So sorry that I hadn’t reached out to John over the years. He was always a great friend. He and I shared an adventure when we ran away with the carnival when we were 12.
